Our herd are currently outwintering, feeding off of the residual grass growth from last year whilst being supplemented with some fantastic wildflower rich hay from our good neighbour Pat

Whenever I check the cattle there are always family groups dotted around the herd keeping close together. This is a result of the fact that we let our cattle self-wean their calves and only remove subadult females for a short period
